A Board certified dermatologist since 2003, Dr. Weinfeld is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery as well as the Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. In 2009, Dr. Weinfeld was elected to the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology. She served as Vice President from 2016 - 2017.

She has been featured on Cable News Network, the Frugal Yankee Radio Hour, Wellesley Cable Vision, and Comcast Cable Vision. She has spoken to patient, physician, and community groups locally and throughout New England on topics including skin care, skin cancer and advances in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Weinfeld lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her husband Dr. Mark Weinfeld, a cardiologist, and their three children.
